It was a pretty ugly argument
After the deafening silence
She gained the bitter sweet victory

True
I bought a ticket to the world
But now I've come back again
With a thrill in my head and a pill on my tongue
Dissolve the nerves that have just begun
Always slipping from my hands
Sand's a time of it's own
Why do I find it hard to write the next line?
When I want the truth to be known
But now I've come back again
With a thrill in my head and a pill on my tongue
Dissolve the nerves that have just begun
Always slipping from my hands
Sand's a time of it's own
Why do I find it hard to write the next line?
When I want the truth to be known

5 stages
Denial
You lost a deal
You broke up a relationship
You contracted a terminal disease
You say, This could not be happening to me!
Anger
You hate your competitor
You hate your partner
You hate the world
You say, It's not fair, why me?
Bargaining
You asked for a second presentation
You asked for a second chance
You asked for a painless and longer time
You say, If I do this for you, will you do that for me.
Depression
You hanged your head low that you lost the deal
You cried your heart out that you'll be lonely
You closed your eyes and worry that you'll never open it
You say, It really happened to me.
Acceptance
You look forward to another deal
You open your door for another relationship
You receive blessings to get onto another journey
You say, I'm ready.

Journey
Funny how it seems
That life is just a journey
With a humble beginning
To a quiet lonely ending
That life is just a journey
With a humble beginning
To a quiet lonely ending

Learn
You learn when you listen
You learn when you read
You learn when you think
You learn when you speak
You learn when you live
You learn when someone dies
You learn when you give
You learn when someone lies
Learning the good
Learning the bad
Learning to be happy
Learning to be sad
Learn the right way
Learn with the right mind
Learn the hard way
Learn with the right kind
You learn when you read

Beauty
Where anorexia and bulimia became the best buddies
Where fats and muscles became enemies
Is this a whole new meaning to beauty?
Are you a fashion victim like many?
Where needles and suctions became neccesities
Where creams and pills became accessories
Is this a whole new meaning to beauty?

Farewell
We can only bid farewell with a wave and a smile
We can only take away the memories that's in our mind
We can only cherish what we have now or not it'll be gone
We can only make the best out of it while it last
This is as good as it gets
This is not a regret
This is a part of life
This is why we survive
We can only take away the memories that's in our mind
We can only cherish what we have now or not it'll be gone
We can only make the best out of it while it last
This is as good as it gets
This is not a regret
This is a part of life

Dumbstruck
Her poise so ever elegant
As she trolleyed to the lift
Flip flops justifying the pedicure
Her dainty features' a gift
Contrast to her natural charisma
He was in tees and jeans
Finally picking up the courage
He mumbered, Good evening!
She gave a nod as her pearly whites displayed
Reminded him of the Posters
He felt a flush of heat to his cheeks
He was as red as a lobster
Flying soon? he asked
Yes, was her reply
Where to? he probed
Direct flight to Dubai
Nice kebaya, he grinned
She gave a friendly smile
Limited by his vocabulary
He wanted to slap himself
The seconds turn into minutes
He wished time could stand still
Yet looking like a total looser
Indeed the agony kills
They finally reached the lobby
She smiled and greeted goodbye
He regained his composure and sigh...
The Singapore Girl, what a great way to fly
As she trolleyed to the lift
Flip flops justifying the pedicure
Her dainty features' a gift

Look what technology has made us
Message in a bottle
Expressed my love for you
Feelings conveyed into words
Poetry and passion flew
Letter in a stamped envelop
Sings you're always on my mind
Even when I'm on another land
Our hearts we want to bind
Emails in your inbox
Unread a bit too long
Sweet nothings look plain and dull
On a Times New Roman font
Messenger gives a nudge
With emoticons there and here
Lovers we no longer remain
I'll c u on Friendster :-)

5 senses
I love the scent of green grass
Full of hope
Full of freedom
Innocent and abundant
I love the caress of morning sun
Full of life
Full of happiness
Optimistic and generous
I love the resonance of soft music
Full of spirit
Full of purpose
Tranquil and trance-like
I love the view of torrential rains
Full of determination
Full of reminiscence
Nostalgic and dreamy
I love the flavour of freshly brewed coffee
Full of aroma
Full of savour
Authentic and luxurious
